Soul Calibur IV - With Yoda!?

…Or so says the man from London ExPo, a gaming/anime convention in London.

Well, actually, now I think about it, it ’s not that much of a surprise seeing as the last Soul Calibur (Which was amazing!! But lets not talk about that now.) had an exclusive character for each of the consoles it was on.

Can this really work? Star Wars Universe and Soul Calibur? Nevertheless, I’m not going to complain, because it sounds so damn awesome!

But this time round, PS3 owners can play as Darth Vader (Complete with stifled breathing) and us Xbox 360 owners can play as that lovable, green, 4-foot tall thing. Yes, we get Yoda! Let us rejoice!

They obviously thought this one through though, as if you haven’t noticed, the characters match the colour schemes of the consoles.

The strength of lightsabers in the game obviously had to be downgraded, as if Yoda could pull off one-hit kills it would ruin the game (And lead to a bunch of guys who claim they’re totally 1337 like those damn hunters in WoW), so the lightsaber is no more powerful than the other weapons.

But, at least this gives me hopes that my wild fantasies of a Zelda and Final Fantasy collab. might come true. One day. But for now, let us keep having dreams.
